Lisa takes each and every bride - or customer shopping for any special occasion for that matter - to heart and obviously sets out to ensure their experience feels "pretty" and ends "pretty." She gave me privacy and based my experience out of a charming and elegant room in the back of her boutique. She made sure every dress was placed on me properly and perfectly so I could determine whether or not every beautiful thing I picked out was truly intended for me. She served me and my guests (I brought 5) with her gracious and humble spirit with her full attention, to make sure we smiled and had a "dreamy" experience and least in her store. She makes sure that you have all you want and need - jewelry, shoes, bridesmaid dresses, suits, hair pieces....she has it all and if she doesn't, she'll stop at nothing to make with an "it's no big deal" attitude get it for you. And when my dress finally came to be, it was all that I hoped and dreamed of and Lisa made sure I was in good hands for alterations that were beyond her level of comfort.
Ellen's Dress & Bridal Boutique crew were wonderful to work with for our wedding! I purchased a beautiful dress at a GREAT price. This was a one stop shoppe conveniently located in downtown Wabash. We loved this store so much, we also got our jewelry, special ordered bridesmaids dresses, and groomsmen tux rentals from here. I highly recommend any bride-to-be to check out this locally owned shoppe when searching for your wedding day attire!
Large selection of dresses, both formal and for weddings. We rented a tux from here. Numerous options, they got the tux within days and the customer service is top notch. Very calm, patient, nice and accommodating employees.

Rude employees. Sign said by appointment only and I was checking to see if I had an appointment for a measurement. The door was locked and clearly made eye contact with 2 people inside and they just stepped out of view. Even if it’s “by appointment only” if a human comes and looks lost at your door, be a human and treat them like a human...
The perfect wedding experience!! Whoever knew all that would go into feeling pretty on your wedding day? I certainly didn't, but Lisa at Ellen's certainly does. With an open mind and no real boundaries for wedding dress shopping, I started looking casually at all the big bridal stores - or tried to. I frequently found that their hours were inflexible and if I could make an appointment that worked with a normal, busy work schedule, there were many others packed in the store and dressing rooms, taking away anything personal about the experience that I could have hoped for. And trying to manage my strategy for price was nearly impossible given the brief interactions and lack of personal interest in those stores. Fortunately for me, I knew of Lisa Downs and her dress boutique, named Ellen's. I set up my first appointment and when that day arrived, I realized was finally thrilled with my bridal experience.
